Teacher sues Met over ‘deliberate attack by officer’ at anti-BNP rally
A teacher is suing the police, claiming she was “seriously and deliberately assaulted” by an officer who repeatedly stamped on her leg during a protest against the British National Party.
Amy Jowett, 37, claims she suffered “life-changing injuries” when she was kicked three times below the knee during the Unite Against Fascism demonstration in Parliament Square in 2013, badly breaking her leg.
